The HSE has come under fire for a lack of transparency.
Roscommon-Galway TD Martin Daly raised the matter at today's meeting of the Oireachtas Health Committee, where he questioned HSE officials about the availability of CAMHS and mental health data.
Deputy Daly said he had sought information on the number of referrals in the HSE West North West, but was told the figures were not readily available.

The Fianna Fáil representative expressed concern that without accurate data, it is difficult to assess whether young people are receiving appropriate continuity of care:
