The HSE has been offered a number of sites for a long-awaited primary care centre in Ballaghaderreen. The project has been promised for many years, but has repeatedly fallen through.
The HSE put an advertisement in local newspapers last year, looking for a new site. They say they received a number of possible sites, which they'll finish assessing in the coming weeks. Local councillor Sean Moylan, from Fianna Fáil, says the progress is very slow:
