House prices in the Shannonside Northern Sound region continue to rise. That's according to the latest Daft.ie report which shows market prices in counties Longford, Leitrim, Roscommon, Cavan and Monaghan each saw an increase in the last 3 months of 2025. In Monaghan, the average price for a three-bed semi-d has risen by 22.2 per cent to over 272 thousand while Leitrim sees an increase of 17.3 per cent to 243 thousand euro.
Roscommon also saw double figure percentage increase at 14.1 per cent to 225 thousand euro. County Cavan saw a rise of 5.3 per cent with prices there 227 thousand euro. While average prices in Longford rose by 5.9 per cent to 203 thousand euro. Author of the report, Ronan Lyons says local demand is currently outweighing supply:
