The Tánaiste says he wants to get Robert Pether back to Co Roscommon urgently - after he was finally released from jail in Iraq. The Elphin resident had been in prison there for four years because of a contract dispute between his employer and the Central Bank of Iraq. He has cancer and there have been fears for his life. Last night Foreign Affairs Minister, Simon Harris, said he had been released on bail but remains in Iraq. Councillor Valerie Byrne says it's welcome news for Robert's wife and children in Elphin:
