A long-serving community leader has announced she is stepping down after 55 years of service.
Eileen Kenny served as chairperson of Balllintubber Tidy Towns committee.
In a post on social media, she described her resignation as "a very heavy-hearted decision," thanking the close-knit community that she and four generations of her family have been proud to serve.
Her tenure saw major achievements, including national silver, bronze, and this year's gold medal, along with success in two Pride of Place competitions.
Wishing the group continued success, she said she will remain firmly rooted in the community she loves.
