Outline Planning permission for 12 new homes in Boyle has been approved .
Michael O Dowd had applied to Roscommon County Council for approval to develop the two-storey homes at a site at Abbeytown, Warren or Drum in February.
Planning was approved over the weekend, subject to eight conditions, including a more detailed planning application be submitted that will include a site layout plan, driveways, access point and sightlines, surface and foul water drainage and water supply;

A development contribution in the sum of, €52,800 will also need to be paid to the Council as part of the proposed development.
