There has been a great turnout across the Shannonside region for this morning's Darkness into Light walks.
Hundreds of locals set off in the early hours to raise funds for Pieta's biggest fundraiser, which supports its suicide and self-harm prevention services.
Official events have taken place in Boyle, Castlerea, Roscommon Town, Strokestown and Longford Town - while there was no official walk in Co. Leitrim.
It was a special morning for Castlerea as this year marked ten years of Darkness into Light in the town.
Organiser of the Castlerea walk, Senator Gareth Scahill says many people turned up to support the cause:
