Granard native is grand marshal at today's Dublin Pride Parade

A Longford woman will be the grand marshal at today's Dublin Pride Parade.

Rebecca Tallon De Havilland who's a native of Granard will lead the display which starts at the Point and travels towards Merrion Square.

Proceedings begin at 12 noon with this year's theme being Uchtach and courage.

In a post on social media Rebecca says its an honour to be chosen as the grand marshal this year.
