Plans have been greenlit for a new Astroturf pitch in Aughnacliffe, Co Longford.
Plans lodged by Pauric Kavanagh on behalf of Colmcille GFC have received permission to see the construction of the pitch along with associated fencing, lighting and all ancillary site works.
The development will also include the construction of a ball wall with all weather training area including Low level lighting to an existing walkway and the alteration to the site layout to include new parking facilities.

Plans have been granted by Longford county planners with 6 conditions attached including a provision that floodlighting at the new facility will not impinge on nearby residences.
