Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a serious road crash which occurred on Monday evening in Co. Longford. It happened on Monday at around 6 pm on the L1127 at Mullaghvorneen and involved a car and a motorbike. The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, was airlifted to the Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore.
He was later transferred to the Mater Hospital in Dublin. Gardai want to hear from anyone who was travelling on the L1127 between the GAA club and Ballymacormack Cemetery between 5.30pm and 6pm on Monday and who may have camera or dash-cam footage.
