Gardaí in Leitrim are investigating the discovery of a body in Carrick on Shannon.
The body of a man in his 50s was discovered at Liscara this afternoon, with local Gardaí and emergency services sealing off a section of the Leitrim Road this afternoon.
His body has been transferred to the mortuary at Sligo University Hospital for a post mortem examination.

The local Coroner has been informed and the scene remain sealed for further examination.
