The funeral of a young man who died suddenly in Roscommon earlier this week is taking place this morning.
Liam Dunne was a keen sportsman and member of CBS Roscommon's Leaving Cert class this year.
The community of Ballyleague and the wider Roscommon area was plunged into grief following his death on Tuesday.
Liam's soccer club Roscommon Town said words couldn't convey the shock and sadness amongst members.
Posting on Facebook, the club described him as a 'mannerly and genuine young man'.
CBS Roscommon, St Faithleach's GAA and Roscommon Gaels GAA also paid glowing tributes.
Liam's funeral mass will take place at the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon at 11 o'clock today before he's laid to rest in St Coman's Cemetery.
