The funeral of a Kilglass Gaels GAA stalwart is taking place later today.
Padraig Nugent died in a single-vehicle road traffic incident in Kilglass on Sunday morning.
Padraig, from Kilglass, was aged in his 50s and was a stalwart of Kilglass Gaels GAA club.
Padraig was part of the 1999 winning team that captured the Roscommon Intermediate Football title.
The club said earlier this week that they all have many memories of Padraig and they are very saddened by his untimely passing.
His funeral Mass is taking place later today in St Anne's Church, Slatta, at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Scramogue Cemetery.
