The funeral of a Ballaghaderreen GAA legend and former garda is taking place today. Jim Fleming died peacefully on Tuesday in Mayo Hospice in Castlebar while aged in his 80s. He had a great playing and coaching career with Ballaghaderreen and Mayo - and was a top official with both in later life.
His funeral will take place in St Nathy's Cathedral in Ballaghaderreen at 12 o'clock today. Former Ballaghaderreen councillor Michael Scally has been paying tribute:
