The funeral mass of a well-known north Roscommon man will take place this morning.
John Burke, of Knockvicar passed away on Monday at Sligo University Hospital.
A talented musician, he held the role of chairperson of Una Bhan Tourism in Boyle at the time of his passing.
He is survived by his daughters Áine, Eithne and Úna, and his son Martin.
The late Mr Burke will be laid to rest at St. Patrick’s Church in Crossna at 11 am today.
