Funeral arrangements for a former Roscommon GAA player who died in a collision in Donamon yesterday have been announced.
Harry Crowley of Cargins Park, Donamon passed away in a single-vehicle collision in the area early yesterday morning, aged in his 60s.
The Oran footballer was a popular presence in the local GAA circle, having won the under-21 All-Ireland Football Championship title against Kerry in 1978.
He will be reposing at Smyth's Funeral Home in Roscommon on Wednesday evening from 5pm to 6:30pm.
Removal from his home on Thursday morning at 11.15am, arriving to St Patrick's Church, Clooneycolgan, for Mass of the Resurrection at 11.30.
His burial will take place afterwards in Oran cemetery.
