Funeral arrangements confirmed for Leitrim tractor crash victim, Padhraic Beirne

The 65-year-old, from Liscarbin, Aughacashel, was pronounced dead at the scene of the single-vehicle collision in Mullaghycullen, Drumcong, at around 11pm last night.

The man who died in a tractor crash in Co Leitrim was popular local man Padhraic Beirne.

The 65-year-old, from Liscarbin, Aughacashel, was pronounced dead at the scene of the single-vehicle collision in Mullaghycullen, Drumcong, at around 11pm last night.

He worked for North West Tool Hire in Kilclare, near Carrick-on-Shannon.

His remains will repose at his home tomorrow, Tuesday, from 3pm to 8pm and on Wednesday, for extended family.

His removal will take place on Wednesday evening to St Brigid's Church, Drumcong, to arrive at 7pm.

His funeral Mass is on Thursday, at 11.30am, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
