Former Roscommon footballer and Connacht title winner, Don Connellan, dies

The Kilmore native passed away yesterday. 

Former Roscommon GAA footballer and Connacht title winner, Don Connellan, has died. The Kilmore native passed away yesterday, while aged in his early 50s.

He won a Connacht Senior Football Championship title with Roscommon in 2001. Former chairperson of Roscommon County Board Tommie Kenoy says Don was a natural leader on the pitch:
