A former cathaoirleach of Roscommon County Council has been remembered as a dedicated family man, who had no enemies.
The funeral Mass of 99-year-old Tom Callaghan took place in St Paul's Church, Kilmurray, this morning.
He was first elected as a Fine Gael councillor in 1979 and quit politics 20 years later.
Several gifts were brought to the altar today - to symbolise his love of music, community, animals, travel and his family.
