The formation of a new technological university for the Midlands is a step closer.
The Minister for Further Education Simon Harris has confirmed to Senator Aisling Dolan that the international independent review of the Technological University with Athlone IT & Limerick IT has been completed.
He's confirmed that this report will be due at the end of March and he will be progressing the plans with the Higher Education Authority from then.
