A spokesperson for the Minister for Agriculture says he will to continue to engage with the Office of Public Works over flooding in an area of South Roscommon.

The Minister of State with responsibility for the OPW , Patrick O'Donovan, met with Charlie McConalogue  this week to discuss the significant impact that flooding is having on community of Lough Funshinagh.

A statement from the OPW minister also claimed that the Minister is very aware of the impact of flooding in the Rahara area and continue to monitor the situation.
