Five local groups awarded funding to help with energy costs

The funding announcement was made this morning.

The Government have announced further funding for local voluntary and community organisations to help with energy costs.

The Community and Voluntary Energy Support Scheme sees the sector receiving a one-off contribution towards the increased energy costs they faced in 2022.

The latest tranche has seen just over €2,000 split among groups across Longford, Roscommon and Athlone.
