A woman was almost hit by logs that fell off a lorry in Drumsna, Co Leitrim, recently.
Local independent councillor Irene Guckian Rabbitte says it’s one several near misses in the village recently.
She wants Leitrim County Council to build a walkway along the Drumsna to Kiltoghert road for residents to walk safely.

But the council says there's no funding available for the project.
