Homes are being devalued in south Roscommon because of noise coming from the Athlone bypass, according to the local councillor. Independent Emer Kelly says it is also affecting people's quality of life. She is calling for noise-reduction works on the N6 to include the Athlone bypass, up to and including junction 13.
Councillor Kelly says Roscommon shouldn't be excluded from plans to address the problem - as it is affecting residents in the area.
