ESB Networks suspend works at Mote Park after concerns raised by local group

ESB Networks say they have suspended works at Mote Park following concerns raised by a local conservation group.
The Mote Park Conservation Group have expressed anger at the felling of a number of trees at the popular Roscommon amenity in recent days.

The group says the trees were cut from one of the only trails unaffected by Storm Éowyn.
In response, the ESB say they have suspended works and will review the site again in due course.
However, they also confirmed that other works that have commenced in areas of Roscommon and Longford will continue.
