Enhanced bus services announced for Longford and Athlone

Enhanced bus services between Athlone and Longford have been announced by Bus Eireann.

Cavan, Clare, Cork, Longford, Louth, Meath, Tipperary and Westmeath are also getting new or boosted services.

72 towns and villages will get new or enhanced bus services, with the first of those kicking off this Sunday. The plan includes a first-ever link between Cashel and Limerick City, which includes a direct service to the University of Limerick.
