A number of community and voluntary organizations in the Shannonside region are to benefit from new energy supports.
The Community and Voluntary Energy Support Scheme provides funding to help with energy costs.
5 organisations in the Shannonside region have been added to the supports list. In Roscommon, Enterprise Castlerea will receive €3,989 and Cootehall CLG will get €325. €1,189 has been allocated to the Bridgeways Family Resource Centre in Longford.

While in Leitrim, Drumstrand Community Partnership will receive €2,594 to help with energy costs.
A total of €205,888 in funding has been allocated to community groups around the country.
