A total of sixteen people are waiting on trolleys or chars at hospitals in the Shannonside region today.
According to the INMO's trolleywatch figures, eleven people are waiting at Portiuncula hospital in Ballinasloe - including four in the emergency department.
Five people are also waiting for a bed at the Midlands Regional hospital in Mullingar.

In total, 81 admitted patients are waiting for beds this morning with 74 patients waiting in the emergency department.Toll
