A €20 million sports facility in Carrick-on-Shannon will be fully complete in mid-2026 - subject to grants coming through on time.
Ground works are ongoing on the Castlecarra Road for the Shannonside Recreational Campus.
It will include an athletics track, an AstroTurf pitch, sports arena, and a standard grass pitch.

The campus's chairperson, Brendan Lowe, says he hopes all will be delivered in two years' time - and there will be some facilities next year.
