Several heritage projects across Roscommon, Longford and Leitrim have been allocated grant aid under the “Historic Structures Fund” and the “Built Heritage Investment Scheme”.
Longford County Council has been allocated a total of €55,000 to carry out works on structures at Carriglass Demense outside Longford town, at Creevaghmore House in Ballymahon and on the former Ulster Bank building in Edgeworthstown.
Roscommon Council is being given a total of €40,000 to have works carried out on structures at Clonalis in Castlerea and at the Lisadorn entrance arch and gates at Elphin.
The local authority in Leitrim is being given €20,000 for repairs to the former dispensary building at Lough Rynn.
