The owner of a holiday park company says Rooskey is the perfect place to develop a new camping facility.
It was confirmed last month that Lynders Holiday Park would open a new branch in the North Roscommon village.
Michael Lynders says the opportunity to expand his business along the River Shannon was too good to turn down.
The company already runs a popular facility in Portrane in north County Dublin.
