Cllr Tom Crosby says the project would be hugely positive for the county.

There are calls for a new designated county museum to be developed in Roscommon.

Independent councillor Tom Crosby is bringing a motion forward to today's Roscommon County Council meeting.

He wants to see it established in Strokestown and believes it would cost around €4 million to €6 million.
