The death has taken place of Roscommon Coroner P. Desmond O'Connor.
The Ballaghaderreen solicitor was the longest serving coroner in the country.
He will be laid to rest in Kilcolman Cemetery on Saturday following funeral mass at St Nathy's Cathedral in Ballaghaderreen.
