The ever-increasing homeless figure locally has been raised on the floor of the Dáil.
Department of Housing figures for August show that there were 195 adults accessing emergency accommodation in Longford, Leitrim, Roscommon and Westmeath.
Of these, 67 were in Westmeath, 23 in Leitrim, Roscommon recorded 22 and in Longford, there were 19.
