A counselling service for victims of sexual violence in Boyle will be officially launched later this month.
The outreach clinic, provided by Athlone Midlands Rape Crisis Centre, is based in Boyle Family Resource Centre.
It's the organisation's latest outreach clinic in the region, with similar services in Mullingar, Monksland, Longford town and Roscommon town.

Manager Pauline Cahillane says they wanted to expand to Boyle.
