Council urged to purchase former Lough Gara Hotel

Auctioneer James Kilcoyne says he is talking to some interested parties about taking it over.

Roscommon County Council is being urged to buy the former Lough Gara Hotel in Ballaghaderreen.

The 12-bedroom property in Main Street, which is now derelict, was sold in an online auction last year for 230,000 euro.
