Roscommon County Council has granted planning permission for the demolition of the existing Lidl store in Roscommon town, and the building of a new one.
The new single-storey shop will include an off-licence sales area.
The site will have dedicated parking for electric vehicles, and 10 bicycle parking spaces.

There will be 104 car parking spaces around the unit.
The planning permission is subject to 15 conditions.
