Contracts have been signed for the development of a new Waterfront Park at Hodson Bay in Co Roscommon.
Funding of close to €1.4 million was announced earlier this month for the project at the popular tourist attraction in south Roscommon.
The project includes the development of the promenade and enhanced facilities for water activities such as boating and swimming.

The signing of contract documents took place yesterday, with Civic Engineers Ltd appointed as lead consultants on the project.
