Concerns raised over future of rural transport following metro approval

It's felt that money would be best spent in areas such as local link and other transport initiatives across the region.

Concern has been expressed over the future of rural transport. That's after Dublin's Metrolink, which will connect Dublin Airport to the city got the go ahead. An Coimisiún Pleanála has approved the Railway Order application for the project.
