Concerns over proposed Roscommon wind farm

County Planners requested further information from Ballyfeeney Green Energy last month.

Some enviromental concerns have been raised in relation to a potential wind farm in Co. Roscommon.

County Planners requested further information from Ballyfeeney Green Energy last month after they applied for permission to build six turbines between Scramogue and Kilglass.

In a report issued to the developer, they say there's a confirmed nest site for an identified Bird of Prey otherwise known as raptor species, in close proximity to three proposed turbines.
