A Roscommon priest is expressing his concern over how churches are going to turn away parishioners who cannot be accommodated at mass.

Places of worship can open again from the end of this month, with clear physical distancing guidelines.

As well as hand sanitiser, and screens for the receipt of communion, seats will be out of use, to ensure there are two meters between people.

Parish Priest of Frenchapark, Tibohine, Fairymount and Ballanagare, Father Michael Donnelly says the most difficult issue posed by the new regulations is that people will have to be turned away.
