Clonguish and Mostrim played out an entraining 2-12 to 1-15 draw in the second round of the Peter Hanley Motors Longford Senior football championship.
The draw may just see both teams qualify for the quarter-finals, pending the outcome of Killoe Emmet Og’s current48-week suspension as Killoe are the third team in group one.
Brian Farrell palmed the ball into the Clonguish net after five minutes to make it 1-1 to two points in an end to end encounter.
15 minutes later a quick Paul Barden free finds Francie Molloy who found the Mostrim net to make it 1-4 apiece as Mostrim led 1-7 to 1-6 at the break.
Ian McCormack grabbed Clonguish’s second goal three minutes into the second-half in a helter skelter encounter which ended with a last gasp Brian Farrell free tying the game at 2-12 to 1-15.
