A civic reception is to be sought for victorious All-Ireland winning Castlerea Community School under 19 basketball team.
The team's 50 points to 45 triumph over Kildare Town Community School secured the All-Ireland B League title last week.
The west Roscommon school were previously defeated in the under 16 C All-Ireland Schools’ Cup final in 2023.

Local Cllr Paschal Fitzmaurice is to the raise the matter at this month's meeting of the Roscommon MD.
He feels it's important to acknowledge such success:
