Carrick on Shannon Chamber has announced the appointment of Fine Gael Cllr Finola Armstrong-McGuire as its new President.
Cllr Armstrong-McGuire replaces the outgoing President Colm McGrath.
Speaking to Let's Talk earlier this week, she spoke of her pride at being appointed the new president of the chamber.
Cllr Armstrong-McGuire added that Carrick on Shannon has alot of potential to build on from the vibrant atmosphere that is currently in the area:
