There are calls for an All-Ireland winning handballer from Co. Roscommon to be honoured at the next civic reception. Fiona Tully captured the 4-wall Senior Singles Championship in Croke Park in March.
The St Coman's Handball Clubwoman previously reached the final in 2024. Local Cllr Ruth Conboy feels it's important to acknowledge such resilience and success:
