Accommodation for refugees in Boyle has closed down.
In an email, Roscommon County Council has told certain recipients: "We wish to inform you that the international protection accommodation at Egan’s Townhouse, Boyle, is closing with immediate effect.
"Roscommon County Council local authority integration team (LAIT) has informed the LAIT in the receiving county."

The facility in Green Street opened in 2023 and, at one stage, accommodated 18 refugees.
It's understood the remaining refugees in the centre were moved from the property in the past week or so.
