Boyle Family Resource Centre have received planning permission for new therapy pods to support their ongoing counselling services. The centre was seeking to install two therapy/treatment pods and retain permission for the change of use of a domestic dwelling and garage to a health centre/clinic.
They were awarded planning permission this week with Roscommon County Planners adding nine conditions to the grant. Boyle Family Resource Centre offers a number of different counselling and Psychotherapy services from their centre on the Military Road in the town. The service, in conjunction with the Athlone Midlands Rape Crisis Centre, recently launched a new sexual violence outreach clinic.
