Boxty that is made in Leitrim is to be sold in one of the country's biggest supermarket chains here.

A food product developed and manufactured in Leitrim has won a competition to be sold in one of the country's major supermarkets.

Dromod Boxty was announced this week as one the six winners of this year's Grow with Aldi Supplier Development Programme,

Earlier this year, 45 suppliers won a place on the programme which was developed in partnership with Bord Bia with products hitting the shelves in early May.
