A man is due to appear in court next month after being stopped by garda in the Coosan area last night on suspicion of dangerous driving
Gardai stopped a vehicle at around 8.45pm and two people in the vehicle, including the driver, were arrested
He was taken to Athlone Garda station for questioning and charged with an offense of dangerous driving.

he was later released and is due to appear at the District Court in March.
