'A very, very emotional evening' - huge crowd attends Des Guckian memorial concert

Around 300 people attended a concert in Annaduff Church, Co Leitrim, tonight in memory of former councillor Des Guckian.

He was a member of Annaduff Church Choir before he died in his 70s in May.

The choir starred in tonight's concert, which was also in memory of another member, Michael John Faughnan.

Des’s daughter Irene played the fiddle and was delighted with how the event went:

The concert was in aid of North West Hospice.
